Cross-Connection Control (CCC) Program

Part of the California Safe Drinking Water Act

The Sacramento County Water Agency (SCWA) has developed a outreach program designed to help resident understand the State of Califronia's Cross-Connection Control (CCC) Policy.  The policy is establishes standards intended to ensure a public water system’s (PWS) drinking water distribution system will not be subject to the backflow of liquids, gases, or other substances.

The CCC program ensures the protection of the water system from cross-connections and backflow of contaminants created in the pipes of our customers’ buildings and/ or homes.
