Don't blow them! Raking leaves can lower your utility bill AND prevent localized flooding by keeping storm drains clear for early winter storms.
Check your irrigation system. Water lawns only when needed and turn off automatic sprinklers.
Put fallen leaves to work in your yard! Put a 3-inch deep layer of mulch around young trees and shrubs, extending the mulch to the drip line. Keep the leaves at leaf 6 inches away from the base of the tree.
